These steps ensure organised and transparent participation, culminating in a celebration event that combines art, communication and the world of wine.
At this stage, participants will have to register and submit their works according to the requirements indicated (format, technique, theme).
The works may be sent physically (if created using pictorial techniques) or in high-resolution digital format (for digital graphic works).
Each entry must be accompanied by a brief description of the work (maximum 150 words) explaining the inspiration and connection with the theme.
The Award will be presented at a press conference open to partners and the press within the Biennale del Mare ‘Blu Livorno’ on 17 May 2025.
On that date, the dates of the award ceremony and the location of the exhibition will be announced.
The jury, composed of experts in art, visual communication and the world of wine, will examine the entries received.
The evaluation criteria will include
Consistency with Cappiello’s style
Originality and creativity
Technical quality of the work
Ability to enhance the wines or spirits of the participating wineries
At the end of the evaluation, 10 finalists will be selected for each category (Artists and Two-year and Three-year Students).
The winners will be contacted directly by the organisers and publicly announced through the official competition channels (website, social media, press releases).
The finalists will be invited to attend the final exhibition to present their works.
The finalist and winning works will be displayed in a dedicated exhibition, organised to celebrate the talent and artistry of the participants.
During the event, the official award ceremony will be held. The winners will receive:

Visit with tasting for 4 people in the winery of the 2025 edition
Prizes in products provided by partners
Interview in the online magazine ASA-press.com
